The Buganda Royal Mile

A walk down Kabakanjagala road

This 1 mile stretch of road also called the royal mile is endowed with special tree species and also hosts the 56 totems which are the basic unit for this great kingdom. This great road connects the kingdom headquarters (Bulange) to the royal palace. It also has two roundabouts, the first one which is just outside the palace and the next one midway the road with a gate that can only be used by the Kabaka. Foreigners will have to pay a different fee for this experience
