Visit the Lubiri
The Lubiri is the historic official palace among the many in Buganda kingdom established in 1885 by Ssakabaka Mwanga II. This great palace which has been the official residence for 4 kings was attacked and hit during the 1966 war led by Iddi Amin on orders of Apollo Milton Obote (Uganda's Prime Minister then). The history of Twekobe (main house) and the canon is something you cannot afford to miss!! The amazing trek down to Iddi Amin's torture chambers is such an incredible one that will soothe your body and mind, not forgetting the "dark" story of what transpired at the dungeon. And also the great captivating scenic views of the hills of Uganda's capital Kampala coupled with the cool breeze. This experience is at 10$ for foreigners.
